Pygmalion by George Bernard Shaw

'You see this creature with her kerbstone English: the English that will keep her in the gutter to the end of her days. In three months I could pass that girl off as a duchess at an ambassador's garden party.'

This classic comedy inspired the stage and film musical 'My Fair Lady'. It follows Professor Higgins' experiment with his 'live doll' Eliza Doolittle. Will she convince society that she really is a duchess? And what will become of her if she does? Where will she find a place in a world bound by class and gender prejudices?

At the Comenius Centre, Fulneck.

Tuesday 14th - Saturday 18th November 2023, 7:30pm.
